The Ferodo DS2500 pad is a hybrid street-racing compound with a higher coefficient of friction and flat cornering for good cold braking, while the Ferodo DS3000 is designed for pure competition, with a coefficient of 0.5 and withstands temperatures up to 650 degrees.
PFC 39 is the quintessential compound for racing, with a coefficient close to 0.6 and constant braking torque beyond 750 degrees. Recommended for applications where fading is essential and with unparalleled modulation.
